本地有个小桂林似的美丽公园,我说的是坐落在怡保市Jalan Kuala Kangsar的Gunung Lang。 那边风景明媚、有绿山、清水湖和小亭子。 可以买鱼料喂湖里的鱼、大白鸭和寿龟。 上个星期和家人回北上的家乡探亲,便建议姐夫大伙儿半途停歇在Gunung Lang欣赏美景。
第一次和小侄儿、小侄女一起出远门,短短四天三夜的旅程惊觉发现现在三岁半和一岁半的小孩的领悟力超强。
以下是一些在途中的小插曲: 三姨阿佳 :Ivan, where are we going? 小侄儿Ivan: We are going to... Alor .. Setar! 三姨阿佳 :Where is Alor Setar? 小侄儿Ivan: Alor Setar is .. Here! 三姨阿佳 : Not yet. Alor Setar is still far away. We are now at Ipoh. Ivan, you see, a lot of big mountain. 小侄儿Ivan: Ooh... inside the mountain got hippo ah? 三姨阿佳 : Hippo? No, no hippo in the mountain. Only the shape look like hippo. Eh... This place is called Ipoh. See, some of the mountain has cave. 小侄儿Ivan: Cave is big hole ah? Then the cave is dark dark one ah? 三姨阿佳 : Yes. A cave is a big hole in a mountain or a hill, as big as you can go in one is call a cave. Inside the cave got bat, got snake, got scorpion... 小侄儿Ivan: Oh...then got worm, all the bad things. I don't like bat. All bad one. 小侄儿Ivan: You see, many tree on the mountain. Big big tree. 三姨阿佳 : Look like broccoli that you always eat? 小侄儿Ivan: Yes. Yes. 三姨阿佳 : Later we are going to 姨婆's house. Let's practise to say "Ee Po~". 小侄儿Ivan: ??? Ee poo....... Got hippo ah?
Lamb shank, yes! It was really lamb shank that we cooked at Ajinomoto cooking class today.
Menu for today's Indian cuisine were lamb shank, chicken bryani rice, vegetable dalcha and apple crepe. I picked this class because of lamb shank and vegetable dalcha. Yummy yummy dalcha. :)
Celebrity chef and food dresser, Amy Beh guided us through the 2 hours cooking & learning activity. Amy shared a lot of tips with us on marketing & food preparation.
I didn't know that vegetable dalcha needs coconut milk + milk. Hmm hmm... but the result was really good!
It was really a fruitful day. Go to the class together with your friends and family!
I spent times with my uni mates there. :) Not bad an activity for a small leisure ya!
